1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return most items for a full refund. Some exceptions may apply as outlined below.
2. Eligible Items for Return
Most items purchased from Gamebity can be returned, including:
- Gaming hardware and accessories
 - Unopened software and games
 - Gaming peripherals (keyboards, mice, headsets)
 - Computer components
 - Collectibles and merchandise
 
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned for health, safety, or policy reasons:
- Digital downloads and game codes
 - Opened software products
 - Personalized or customized items
 - Items damaged by misuse or normal wear
 - Gift cards and promotional items
 - Items without original packaging
 
4. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
- Original Condition: Items must be in new, unused condition
 - Original Packaging: All original packaging, manuals, and accessories must be included
 - Return Authorization: A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required
 - Proof of Purchase: Original receipt or order confirmation required
 
5. How to Return an Item
Step 1: Request a Return
- Log into your account and go to "My Orders"
 - Select the order containing the item you want to return
 - Click "Return Item" and select your reason
 - Submit your return request
 
Step 2: Get Your RMA Number
- You'll receive an RMA number via email within 24 hours
 - Print the prepaid return label if provided
 - Package the item securely with all original contents
 
Step 3: Ship the Return
- Attach the return label to the package
 - Drop off at the designated carrier location
 - Keep your tracking receipt for reference
 
6. Return Shipping
- Defective Items: We provide free return shipping
 - Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
 - Wrong Item Sent: We cover all return shipping costs
 - Damage in Transit: We handle the return with the carrier
 
7. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days after receipt
 - Refund Method: Original payment method used
 - Refund Amount: Full purchase price (minus return shipping if applicable)
 - Notification: Email confirmation when refund is processed
 
8. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for:
- Defective items of the same model
 - Wrong size or color (if applicable)
 - Different model (subject to price difference)
 
9. Warranty Returns
For items under manufacturer warranty:
- Contact us first to determine if it's a warranty issue
 - We may direct you to the manufacturer
 - Some items may be handled directly by us
 - Extended warranty options available for many products
 
10. International Returns
For international customers:
- Return shipping costs are customer's responsibility
 - Customs fees and duties are non-refundable
 - Contact customer service for return authorization
 - Additional processing time may apply
 
11. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us immediately (within 48 hours)
 - Provide photos of the damage
 - We'll arrange for immediate replacement or refund
 - No need to return the damaged item in some cases
 
12. Restocking Fees
Restocking fees may apply to:
- Large or special order items (15% fee)
 - Items returned without original packaging (10% fee)
 - Electronics opened and tested (varies by item)
 - No restocking fee for defective items
